back at the print shop

hey everybody i'm on the radio!
it was a cold winter night but el donk had to represent the man MLK.
the show (down) at the highnoon was a smashing success !
the high noon saloon is a really great club and we had a blast!
item! el donk was the first band to play in that space, way back when the building was the buy and sell shop and the high noon was marcus and dave's 'no name printing'
the kindly old sheppards marcus and dave let el donk practice in their shop and gave us 24 hr access! -this wasn't always a good thing , but it did come in handy from time to time
we will always remember their kindness and hospitality, and be grateful for the practice spot, as we needed a practice spot at the time! thank you 'no name 'wherever you are!
so it was nice to return to the print shop after all these years
the next donk show is feb 11th at the slipper club with the kites
be there aloha! we also have a new song list 1-71 you pick'm we play'm
item! the resently released donk floyd cd is now available!- thats right the live meddle performance from the bomblastica show at the annex now certain el donk fans can stop yelling pink floyd at all our shows get the cd dammit
the 'assses of evil' dvd is also on it's way so stay tuned for more aboot that!
the slipper club was the first place I, the falcon played at a bar , for money
it was a show with my band half-life and 'blue circus' opened. i can't remember what that place used to be called , but thats another story
i'm all blogged out, see ya soon
peace!

El Donk at High Noon

El Donk hits Madison's hottest hot spot on Monday, January 17th. Catch your favorite cult/band/mystery-solving dolphin starting around 9 PM. El Donk teams up with Closed Mondays for the festivities.

To clarify: the show starts at the High Noon Saloon at 9 PM, NOT at high noon central time. El Donk is playing with the band called "Closed Mondays." The High Noon Saloon is NOT closed Mondays. I hope.

See you soon.
